Calling all Rancho Cucamonga residents. How would you like to be paid $50 a month to eat healthier? Sounds too good to be true, right? Well, that's exactly what the city of Rancho Cucamonga is offering...

The City of Rancho Cucamonga has teamed up with First 5 to offer all Rancho Cucamonga residents with at least one child between the ages of 0-5 and/or residents who are currently pregnant an incentive to eat healthy. Eligible residents will receive $50 per month to match purchases of healthy food at participating Farmers’ Markets. To participate, join Healthy RC for a required healthy eating workshop on Monday, July 29, 6:00 - 8:00 p.m., at Homecoming at Terra Vista. WHAT DOES THE PROGRAM PROVIDE?

• $50 per month to match purchases of healthy food at participating Farmers' Markets in Rancho Cucamonga.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE?

• ALL Rancho Cucamonga residents with at least one child 0-5 years old, regardless of income.

HOW DO I PARTICIPATE?

• Register for the required workshop on Monday, July 29, 2013, 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. or August 26, 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Homecoming at Terra Vista in Rancho Cucamonga.
